Gardner Tackle Weed Rake
This Weed Rake has been designed to be easily cast, with suitable tackle, to clear small spots of weed and create clear channels to improve line lay to new and existing clear spots.
Features include:-
- All metal brass and steel construction, will never break.
- Only 3ozs (85g), it is a very comfortable weight to cast.
- Supplied with a large split ring and swivel for attachment to main line.
- Green anti-rust coating.
- Approx. dimensions: Width - 15cm (6″), Body Length - 4cm (1.5″).
Top Tip – Gardner recommend that you use a strong braid (minimum 30lb) and begin clearing the channel to your chosen spot from the end nearest to your swim first. The Weed Rake picks up very large quantities of weed if cast behind a band of weed so be careful not to lose the rake and braid by being ‘over ambitious’ in trying to rake in too much heavy weed in one go.
Gardner Tackle Multi Rake
The Multi Rake is the ideal multi functional tool for quickly clearing weed, twigs and leaves from your spot. The design allows the rake to be attached to a rope and thrown by hand, or attached to a landing net handle or pole with the integral standard 3/8"BSF thread.
The versatility of having both attachment points means that this unique product can be used for weed clearance; creating small spots, clearing channels and quickly clearing marginal weed to enable you to safely land any fish that you have hooked on weedy waters.
It can also be used to improve line lay to your hook bait; specifically where there is debris that may lift the line making it more obvious to feeding fish browsing about a baited spot.
Multi Rakes are perfect for specialist anglers that like to rake a swim to kick up sediment and invertebrates living in the silt, stimulating species like Tench into feeding, without the angler being encumbered by a heavy and bulky full size rake.
