LEGO 10189 Taj Mahal was a 5,922 piece Advanced Models set released in 2008. It used to be the highest fetching LEGO on the secondary market for many years. However, the re-release of Taj Mahal 10256-1 completely devalued the set for a time period in which we saw prices got from over $2-3K to less than $500 USD. Currently, 10189 has rebounded quite a bit and has gain back its original momentum after the second release of Taj Mahal was retired.
