Automatic battery detection - detects battery voltage and condition, which enables the charger to select the correct charging current. The Maypole Electronic charger uses a four charging modes pecfect for 12v standard, AGM & winter charging as well as 6v standard charging. With its clever five step charging which also includes a battery recovery and a superb maintenance cycle the Maypole Electronic 4amp Charger includes a clever memory function which automatically re-starts charging if the cycle is interrupted.

A large easy read LCD screen clearly displays the charger functions, battery level indication and features a dual colour backlight option. The interchangeable 1.5m battery leads are supplied with both a crocodile clip and ring clip terminal extensions.

Naturally this clever battery charger also has overload protection, reverse polarity warning and short circuit protection all in a really tough spash proof IP65 rated case.
